CLI 3525 - Mentoring STEM in the Community (3 Cr.) Service-Learning
Course description
Extend the student learning experience into the community by pairing students with community members to collaborate on science, technology, engineering (STEM) projects. Relevant STEM skills and mentoring skills will be developed, relationships with people from different backgrounds will be formed, and the challenges and opportunities in STEM education will be explored. A successful background check is required to participate in the community-based activities.
