Course description

This course emphasizes the diverse cultural, social, socioeconomic, and historical contexts of human development throughout the lifespan and explores how these contexts directly influence biosocial, cognitive, and psychosocial aspects of human development. The course covers the basic principles of human development including: major paradigms, research methods, the sequences and processes of development, and the joint contributions of biological and environmental influences.
